Hello friends! I'm back! The holidays were a whirlwind of friends, family, and food, and now it's time to get back into the routine of real life.

2015. How the heck did we get here? I've loved reading other bloggers/instagrammers/friends New Year's resolutions/goals, although I haven't actually sat down to make my own list. (This is unusual, since my love for lists is quite strong). My interest was piqued however, when I saw a few people choosing a word or theme for 2015. This resonated with me, and I quite liked the idea of having a theme instead of concrete goals. (Not that goals are bad...but I always feel so guilty when I don't reach them).

So, for 2015, my word is explore. First of all, I want to explore new places, go on adventures, and see a little more of this beautiful world we live in. Perhaps this means visiting new countries, but it certainly means exploring the gorgeous province I get to live in. Second, this may mean exploring new experiences that are out of my comfort zone, or meeting and befriending new people. I want to dig deep and explore what makes me happy, what I want in the future, and take steps to go do it!

And so I say, hello 2015, it's nice to meet you.
